2.3 Exploration & Production (E&P)

The main objective is the exploration and production of hydrocarbons and other mineral energy resources in Uruguay and abroad. Furthermore, it provides technical support regarding E&P Geosciences and Engineering to other areas of ANCAP and public national and international institutions, and designs and executes basic and technological research projects by itself or associated to more than 12 universities and national and international institutions.
