2.1.3 New projects

The Paysandú plant operated during the whole year using petroleum coke as fuel, thus meeting the investment project's goal that ended last year, which enabled the plant to improve its productive efficiency.

The Minas plant operated with its new line of semi-dry production, partially using petroleum coke as new fuel, with the goal of totally operating with this fuel for 2016.

We completed the acquisition process of a new cement grinding system, which has the peculiarity of being delivered as a pre-assembled product, making its installation easier, which enables its transportation and reinstallation. Its working capacity is of 100,000 tons of cement per year and it is intended to be set up in the Minas Plant in 2016.
