2.1.4 Cementos del Plata S.A. - Lime Business

We moved forward with the so-called "Lime Project", located in the Department of Treinta y Tres. This project is carried out by Cementos del Plata S.A., 99.80% of which is owned by ANCAP.

The production of lime through a vertical furnace is continued as a first step of the project and its production is exported to Brazil.

As a supplement, we are moving forward in regard to a lime plant with a larger production capacity (500 tons/day), in accordance with the project and supplies from FLSmidth Danish firm. We already have the equipment, the construction works are in progress, as is the setting up of the plant. We believe that operations of the new plant will start in the second trimester of 2016.
