AUGUST 01, 2017
It was the “Petroleum Geology” course, which adds to the “Basic Geology and Basin Analysis” and “Introduction to the Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production” courses that were dictated this year.
The attendance has exceeded the expectations, with an average of 16 participants per course, integrating representatives of the private industry, as well as government organizations and the academy.
The next course will be “Field and Subsurface Geology”, which will be taking place from June 13th to 16th. This will be a course of essentially practical nature, including a visit to the Core Repository and a 4 days field trip to Norte Basin, emphasizing Paleozoic sequences.
For the rest of the year, most courses have reached their maximum students capacity (20).
