Since 2012 ANCAP has drilled 23 stratigraphic wells in the Norte Basin, for a total of 9205.15 meters drilled.

9 stratigraphic wells in the Area of Pepe Núñez (a total of 4692.15 m drilled)

13 stratigraphic wells in the Area of Cañada de los Burros (a total of 4456 m drilled)

1 stratigraphic well in the Area of Clara (a total of 357 m drilled)

Apart from the stratigraphic wells, ANCAP counts with the information of exploratory wells drilled in the Norte Basin in past decades:

6 exploratory wells drilled between 1956 and 1958.

4 exploratory wells drilled between 1986 and 1987.
