ANCAP has performed a variety of geochemical analyses to the samples from the stratigraphic wells, especially those oriented to know the quality of the potential source rocks of the Norte Basin. In that sense, the geochemical analysis (COT, Rock Eval, fluorescence intensity, etc) are focused mainly on the wells Pepe Nuñez E1; Pepe Núñez E1b; Cañada del Charrúa E1 y Cañada del Charrúa E2, all of them drilled in the Area of Pepe Núñez.
